Admission to our graduate programs is open to students with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in physics, applied physics, chemistry, and materials science, or closely related areas of engineering.

Standard Test Requirements:
- Graduate Record Examination (GRE): GRE General and GRE Physics Test scores are OPTIONAL.
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): Applicants whose native language is not English and whose undergraduate studies were done at a university where the language of instruction was other than English must provide the results of their Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Please use institution code 3987. No departmental code necessary.
