Thermalization and multimode phase locking in optical fibers
In this talk, I will overview experiments on spatial beam self-cleaning in multimode optical fibers, and discuss different interpretations based on wave turbulence, condensation and thermalization. Recent experiments show that our knowledge of the phenomenon remains incomplete.
